Cabinet acupuncture

Although Chinese medicine has a history of 3000 years, it started getting popular only in the last century. To date, Chinese medicine, having a history of millenniums, has not lost its relevance.

In Armenia and the region, the use of Chinese medicine was elemental. Now alternative medicine courses get more confidence and are widely used among us. In this regard, the scope of cooperation is expanding more and more. Currently we cooperate with almost all the areas of medical science in which the use of acupuncture is effective.

To understand Chinese medicine, you need to know its underlying philosophy and fundamentals. The mystery of this medicine is that 3000 years ago those doctors have not only perfectly mastered human anatomy, but also described with details one of the tenets of acupuncture - meridians, channels with their respective areas, internal and external channels with their entire system. According to Chinese medicine, the vital energy, which is the basis of human existence, passes through meridians and channels. The Chinese call it Chi. The whole functioning process of nature and human body is the result of that vital energy’s movement and change.

The next important provision is the fundamental of “Yin” and “Yang”. As in the basis of Chinese, as well as Western medicine, everything is based on two complementary and at the same time harmonious interaction and reaction of contradictory phenomena. In Western medicine it is called nervous-humoral balance, in Chinese medicine – “Yin” and “Yang”. “Yin” is the material passive beginning, “Yang” is the functional active beginning: two complementary and contrasting phenomena which never combine but at the same time cannot exist without one another. The ideal state is the harmonious balance of these two outsets, so treating the disease means handle that imbalance.

In Chinese medicine, the harmonious interaction and reaction of “Yin” and “Yang” is provided and maintained by the vital energy. If a disorder of energy circulation is caused in any organ or meridian, the balance between “Yin” and “Yang” brakes and a disease is caused. If we could find the relevant spots, we may remove the excess energy or send extra energy to that organ with the needles eliminating the cause of the disease.

Acupuncture is more effective.

•    During the early stages of the disease: unlike the opinion in Western medicine to apply acupuncture physiotherapy during rehabilitation
•    During acute or chronic diseases
•    For light and medium disease cases
•    It’s more effective for young and medium-aged people compared to the elder ones
•    Acupuncture is not effective for tumors, particularly malignant ones, diseases with gross organic changes, infectious diseases

That is, the lesser the pathogenic factors harm the body and the more internal resources are preserved, the effective acupuncture is.

Hence the conclusion: all the diseases that are this or that way subject to the general therapy treatment, are also treated with acupuncture. It’s much more effective during functional diseases, especially when the treatment begins with an acute period in an early stage. It is effective for the treatment of nervous system diseases: headaches, neuritis, radiculitis, osteochondrosis, neuroses, depression, as well as nocturia, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, gynecological, ENT, eye, functional nature of the endocrine system and other diseases.

The basic methods used in Chinese medicine are:

  • Acupuncture
  • Incineration: acupuncture and incineration are methods contributing to one another called “Chyn-Tsyu” therapy.
  • Cupping Treatment which includes
    1.    Cups only in the specific area
    2.    Cups on the needles to promote the effect of the latter
    3.    Cups during blood dispensing
    4.    Cup massage
  • Stone massage
  • Treatment with zonal or skin needles
  • Auriculotherapy: acupuncture of specific spots on the ear

Chinese medicine moves from general to details, while Western medicine moves from details to general issues.

In Western medicine disease is treated by importing drugs from outside, Chinese medicine treats based on the body's internal resources. The stock waste of the latter is high, and we use only 5-8% of our reserves. This is the indisputable advantages of Chinese medicine that acupuncture, unlike drug treatment, has no side effects.

Acupuncture has no contraindication or age restriction. Acupuncture does not develop any complication, if it is in accordance with educated, experienced and highly qualified specialists, otherwise safety cannot be guaranteed.
