Computed tomography (CT) is used as a priority method to detect pathological process, as well as to clarify diagnosis if the X-ray, ultrasound and other research methods have been ineffective.

Computed tomography is used for examining diseases of internal organs. It is a leading method for diagnosing such diseases as of brain, lungs, spine, pith, mesentery, liver, kidneys, adrenals, pancreas, aorta, and pulmonary artery.

Diagnostic Center of “Armenia” Republican Medical Center is equipped with 2 best “Toshiba” computer tomography devices of its generation: Aquilion one 320 and 64-layer spiral. These contemporary devices based on latest technology allow to receive perfect quality images and to make accurate diagnosis.

Since 2005 the computer tomography service of “Armenia” Republican MC is headed by Yelena Baghdasaryan, radiologist.

The service is supplied by 3 main doctors, 4 laboratory assistants (by shift) and 2 doctors on duty.
